both，either，neither

这三个词都指两个人或两样东西。

（1）both指“两者都”，谓语动词用复数。主要句型结构：

Both 可数名词复数

Both of 可数名词复数或代词

B蓝盟超越网oth…and…%2c不但…而且…%2c既…又….。

Both of the women were French. 两个女人都是法国人。

He can write wi蓝盟超越网th both hands. 他两只手都会写字。

Both Tom and Jack are students.

（2）either表示“两者中的任何一个”，主要句型结构：

Either 可数名词单数。谓语动词用单数。

Either of 可数名词复数或者代词。谓语动词用单数。

Either…or…%2c“或者…或者…”“要么…要么…”%2c连接并列主语时，谓语动词与后一个主语保持一致，即就近原则。

Either of the plans is good. 两个计划一样好。

He can write with either hand. 他用哪只手写字都行。

Either you or I am wrong.不是你错了%2c就是我错了。

（3）neither表示“两者中哪个也不”，主要句型结构：

Neither 名词单数。谓语动词用单数。

Neither of 名词复数或者代词。谓语动词用单数。

neither…nor…%2c意为“既不…也不…”%2c连接并列主语时，谓语动词与后一个主语保持一致，即就近原则。

Neither boy can swim.

两个男孩都蓝盟超越网不会游泳。

Neither of the books is mine.

这两本书没有一本是我的。

Neither he nor I am a teacher.

他和我都不是老师。

【注意】both和neither是反义词，both…and…和neither…nor…是反义短语。
